Scholarship applications are currently closed. They will open in Spring 2026 

Travel expenses—including registration fees, lodging, and transportation—are often the single largest burden for competitive dancers. By earmarking this funding specifically for competition travel, the NMSHDA directly enabled these dancers to participate in events necessary for their development, qualification, and ranking. This vital support ensures that the competitive success of our New Mexico dancers is based on talent and hard work, not financial constraint.
